Beijing: Amidst the increasing tension in West Asia, China has taken initiative towards peace. Chinese President Xi Jinping has given four important suggestions to America to end the dispute related to Iran. He clearly said that to handle the situation, dialogue and following the rules are most important.
This initiative comes at a time when recent talks remained inconclusive and tensions in the region have increased further.
Xi Jinping emphasized four basic points in his proposal.
Through these points, China has indicated that it wants dialogue and rules-based solutions instead of confrontation. He also stressed on following international laws and rules, so that the global order is maintained.
China has also raised questions on America's action in which strictness has been increased around the Strait of Hormuz. Jinping says that the world should not move towards such a situation where decisions are taken on the basis of force. He called it necessary to follow international law.
US President Donald Trump has indicated that talks with Iran can resume. He said that the situation can change soon and the possibility of agreement remains. There is news that Pakistan may host the next round of talks, although this has not been confirmed yet.

Amidst this entire incident, no clear statement has come from Iran's side. It is believed that Iran is currently monitoring the situation and waiting for the right time.
UN chief Antonio Guterres has expressed hope that talks can resume. If this happens then tension may reduce in the coming days. At present the situation remains sensitive, but the possibility of talks has definitely raised some hope.
